About Me

Together at One Piano

I'm a musician through and through. I started out at the piano, then opera stole my heart and, for many years, took me from the piano bench to the stage. But the piano has always remained close to my heart — and above all, it's a place where you can play. Really play.

I love those moments when music stops being about getting all the notes right and simply becomes a joy. If something doesn't work, we try it again. And when it does work, we play it one more time, just because we're enjoying ourselves.

And it's even better with two.

I am a professionally trained pianist and opera singer. For more than twenty years, I performed as a soloist at the National Theatre in Prague and on stages across Europe. I have also been teaching piano since my student days. Over the years, I have taught dozens of wonderful students, from young children taking their very first piano lessons to adults who simply wanted to fulfil a dream and learn to play: doctors, university students, music lovers…

With Piano for Two, however, what I want to share most of all is what I love most about music: the joy of making music together.

So, shall we play? 🎹

And there's one more thing I can teach you: how to overcome stage fright and how to concentrate. Because that's exactly what I had to learn myself so I could walk out in front of an audience and give it my very best. :)
