You'll learn not only to listen to each other, cooperate, feel a shared rhythm, support one another and celebrate every little step forward, but also to develop patience, perseverance, concentration, tolerance, adaptability, mutual respect, responsibility and healthy self-confidence.

So you're not "just" learning to play the piano. Through music, you naturally develop skills that you can use in everyday life, at home, at school, at work, and in your relationships.

Or: will one of us get bored while the other one is playing?

Although the lessons focus mainly on four-hand piano playing, I also spend part of each lesson working individually with each student.

While I work with one of you on piano technique, touch, finger exercises, and new repertoire, the other explores music theory in a fun and practical way.

Every lesson also includes improvisation together, developing creativity and spontaneity. We finish by working on our four-hand repertoire.

Each lesson lasts 60 minutes.

You'll meet all the other four-hand pianists from my class, hear what everyone else has been working on, listen to each other, and discover how it all comes together on stage.

By arrangement, I also offer an additional Saturday lesson once a month, as well as special workshops combining music theory, history, and guided listening , with plenty of interesting discoveries along the way.
